Opening in January 2023, McCormick Heights is a new apartment community, located at 2330 Yakima Court on top of the hill overlooking the City and Mount Rainer. We are only 8 blocks from the University of Washington Tacoma Campus and 4 blocks from St Joseph Hospital and the new light rail extension, connecting our property to the central business district of Tacoma and to Seattle by train. We are just ten miles from Joint Base Lewis McChord, making an easy commute for members of the military who are stationed at JBLM. Safety is paramount to the McCormick communities. A central access to each building offers security and safety, with optional smart phone locks throughout the building so no keys are needed. Each unit can be individually coded to a resident’s smart phone and that code is changed with each new resident every time a move happens. A hand held fob is also provided for all access points throughout the building. Buildings are equipped throughout with the latest security cameras having high resolution and 360 degree camera technology on exterior and all interior common spaces with saved video history. For the privacy of our residents there are no cameras inside the units. Solid waste management areas outside are located away from living spaces and are secured with video surveillance and locked 8 feet fencing to ensure security for our residents.  Buildings are equipped with upgraded full commercial sprinkler systems not common in most apartment properties. The fire alarm is fully monitored 24/7 by our private fire surveillance company. Your safety is our number one priority.
